Dr. John Henrik Clarke on organized religion vs spirituality, part 1

There are some major differences between religion and spirituality. I consider myself a spiritual person and not confine myself in the dogma, doctrine, and cultism of religion. I am not hater because religion has made some people better as human beings. Better fathers, mothers, children, etc. It’s really a choice in many cases.

When contrasting the two I have found that religion says “ this doctrine we believe is sound, prophetic, and the actuality. Our savior, deity, etc. is the only way to having salvation in your life.” Christian choose Jesus, Muslims choose Muhammad, well hell here you go:

·      Budha Sakia of India.

·      Salivahana of Bermuda.

·      Zulis, or Zhule, also Osiris and Orus, of Egypt.

·      Odin of the Scaudinavians.

·      Crite of Chaldea.

·      Zoroaster and Mithra of Persia.

·      Baal and Taut, "the only Begotten of God," of Phenicia.

·      Indra of Thibet.

o   Bali of Afghanistan.

·      Jao of Nepaul.

·      Wittoba of the Bilingonese.

·      Thammuz of Syria.

·      Atys of Phrygia.

·      Xaniolxis of Thrace.

·      Zoar of the Bonzes.

·      Adad of Assyria.

·      Deva Tat, and Sammonocadam of Siam.

·      Alcides of Thebes.

·      Mikado of the Sintoos.

·      Beddru of Japan.

·      Hesus or Eros, and Bremrillah, of the Druids.

·      Thor, son of Odin, of the Gauls.

·      Cadmus of Greece.

These are all deities who happen to be saviors in their given culture. It is mighty strange all these different deities based on culture. Yes I can understand.  The diaspora of deities existed all over this planet. But yet they all say their way or the highway. Spiritualism recognizes that all the tools we need we were given to us since we were embryos in our mother’s womb. Before anything our parents were the first God like figures to us. We knew nothings else. Ponder that!

Spirituality is saying whatever spiritual system you use and apply daily, and it makes you a better human being continue to practice. You see the differences here. Religion confines you in a box and puts fear in your heart believe otherwise. Spirituality is not bias, or does not negate any spiritual system. There are millions of spiritual systems and dozens of religions.
